Manipal
Institute of Technology, well-known for its academic excellence, is located
on a plateau in the Udupi district of Karnataka. Over 28,000 students from 57
different nations come to MIT every year to complete their higher studies.
There are around 25000 faculty members including staff and non-staff members.
There are also more than 10,000 other support and service staff, who are hired
to cater to the needs of various institutions under Manipal University. MIT
